Meet The Team
Brian is one of the co-founders and owners of B Sports. He has been a professional coach since 2013, working with countless numbers of athletes of all sports and skill levels. Brian is also the current pitching coach at Farmington High School and does consulting work for organizations including Loomis Chaffee and the Connecticut Blue Jays. As a former graduate of Fordham University and Division I All-American athlete, Brian specializes in developing athletes both physically and mentally in order to optimize their individual athletic performance and growth.
Liz is a co-founder and owner of B Sports. She has been studying and coaching neuromuscular training since 2015 and is an ACSM certified trainer. A graduate from Penn State University with her bachelors in elementary education and masters in reading, Liz specializes in the development of young athletes by using her teaching background to provide efficient and effective coaching.
Michael Pendergast, a graduate and former All-Academic baseball player from Eastern Connecticut State University, has been coaching since 2016. He has held numerous positions as both assistant and head coach for the Connecticut Blue Jays Baseball Organization. Michael works as a pitching instructor for B Sports Performance while he pursues his Master’s Degree in school counseling at St. Joesph’s College.
John Miceli is a Level One certified U.S. Track & Field and specializes in speed & conditioning, athletic movement, and body-mind awareness training. He is also a certified counselor and former UConn instructor coaching sports technique, lifetime sports skills, and has lectured extensively on sports psychology and counseling. John has worked with at UConn's Psycho-Physical Development Lab as a sports performance facilitator. In addition, John has coached six individual UConn school record holders in sprint and hurdle events and worked with numerous Division I, II, and II soccer, football, and baseball players.
